Before transitioning to insurance and marketing she built a journalism career in print and broadcast, freelancing for publications like Maclean’s Magazine and working in live production at Global News Toronto and CBC Toronto. As the industry evolved, she earned a Digital Media Marketing certification from George Brown College.
